The heterophony and influence of Jewish folklore found in his style

Memory; Eight Chapters; Dedication; Cantus II; Cantus VI; Life of the World to Come

Assignments:
Taught at conservatories in Moscow, Almaty, and Chişinău; Was a Professor of Composition at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and later became the Dean and Deputy Head of the Academy

Curious Facts:
He emigrated to Israel in 1972
